The global landscape demands proactive responses to intensifying technological competition, industrial restructuring, and internal and external changes and crises such as low birth rates, aging populations, polarization, and climate change. Advanced technology acts as a catalyst for growth and supports sustainable development and human-centered technological progress. Klaus Schwab mentioned the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” in 2016, and digitalization accelerated. A recent notable example is the significant impact of ChatGPT, a generative AI based on large language models. New services and business models integrating ICT with other industries are emerging, and this trend is expected to intensify.
